Ford Shifts Way-Forward into Overdrive
After having posted more losses $123M loss during the last quarter, Ford announced that it is working on ways that it may speed-up its Way Forwardturnaround plan. Among other things, such as speeding up the development process for upcoming models, other parts of the solution they are considering would be to bring some of the vehicles Ford only sells in other markets here to North-America. Rumor has it that we may expect to see such vehicles as the European Focus.
Ford has listed many reasons behind such losses: falling demand for its SUVs and big trucks, luxury-car losses, and shrinking profits from the company’s finance arm. Ford even warns that North American results could be even worse in the second half of the year.
